The Sunshine Peacock (Aulonocara stuartgranti 'Ngara') is a dazzling jewel of the African cichlid world, celebrated for its electrifying coloration and active personality. Hailing from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi, this species is a true showstopper, especially the males, which display a brilliant spectrum of iridescent yellow, orange, and blue. While generally peaceful for an African cichlid, males can be territorial with each other and similar-looking species, so a single male or a group with one male and several females is often recommended. Provide them with a varied diet of high-quality cichlid flakes, pellets, and occasional frozen or live foods.
